Originally from Los Angeles, founder Clinton M. Bowen transitioned from the Quality Engineering sector of the California Aerospace Industry into the Public Insurance Claim Adjusting Industry, in the mid-1980’s. Already equipped with Business Degrees from West Los Angeles Community College and Pepperdine University, Mr. Bowen carefully began to study the Public Insurance Adjusting Industry and Insurance Claims Settlement Practices in general, and then he interned and soon worked in California as a Licensed Public Adjuster for a national Public Adjusting Firm, before becoming its Western Regional Office Manager.
After many other highly valued claims-handling experiences, in several States, with many different kinds of specialized disasters – hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes, tornadoes, frozen crops, etc., Mr. Bowen then started CMB Adjusting Company in 1993, in Los Angeles and Granada Hills, California. Since that time, CMB and its affiliates have grown to serve multiple areas in the States of California, Louisiana and Georgia, and it currently operates offices in Los Angeles, California and New Orleans, Louisiana.
